A consulting practice for those seeking better ways of doing things.
Integral Strategies is the consulting practice of Evan Colton. I offer strategy, systems and technology work, and other growth-oriented help to organizations that want to find better ways of doing things.
The approach is informed by a variety of sources: an MBA from Yale School of Management, years of consulting with small businesses and organizations, Integral Theory, Taoist philosophy, and a long practice of Tai Chi. What ties them together is a conviction that organizations are whole systems, and that the changes that last are the ones that move the strategy, the systems, and the people together.
Above all, the work is about asking the right questions and listening deeply. Most stubborn problems persist because good effort is going into the wrong question, and a good deal of my job is helping you find the right one.
Evan Colton
Founder
Evan is dedicated to helping organizations transform, grow, and improve the world. His experience in business, leadership, and organizational strategy has taken him from Yale School of Management to Apple to years of consulting with small businesses on strategy, technology, and the systems that hold them together.
His superpower is questioning everything. He is not afraid to (tactfully) challenge people or assumptions, and his blend of structure and creativity, patience and discipline, inquiry and insight are assets in any situation.
Evan's long practice of Tai Chi, philosophical Taoism, and Integral Theory gives him an unusual toolkit for seeing different perspectives, spotting hidden connections, and turning challenges into advantages.
If your organization feels stuck on a tricky problem, needs to find a better way, or wants to reevaluate its goals and strategies, Evan will help you see clearly, challenge you to grow, and be a powerful ally in your corner.
Evan also coaches individuals one-on-one. That work lives at evancolton.com.
